Our most valuable Gift -- "God's Words"

Sundry Times = Polumeros (4181) Many Divisions and Divers Manners = (polutropos 4187) Many Idiosyncrasies

The explanation for this is stated exquisitely by Bullinger :
"No one view could give a true idea of any building; and no one Gospel "Harmony" can include a complete presentation of the Lord's life on earth." (Companion Bible p. 1304)

The Group : Its subject Many Divisions Many Styles -- Each his own theme : Expressed with Words, works, & incidences.
The Gospels : The Life of Christ Divided into four books (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) The King, The Servant, The Man, The God
The Greater Prophets : The Return of Christ Four Books
(Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, & the Minor Prophets )
The Day of the Lord; Necessary for Redemption; Perfect in Timing; Perfect in Completion

What remains is "Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth". "This principle is true: because, as no one text is repugnant to another, it is clear that to explain one as being so repugnant, is what cannot lawfully be done. . . Are we to believe one and leave the others?  Are we to explain the one to our own satisfaction, and then explain the others away? . . .If  we cannot reconcile them then let us wait for further light . . . if we can, we must find an explanation of them which shall put them in harmony with the many." (How to Enjoy the Bible p. 327-9)

The Point : Rightly Dividing is not Rightly Deleting or a License to Delete/Negate

Let us put the books of the prophets in Harmony, even though they are delivered in different styles.  It would benefit our understanding to thus tabulate and elucidate the unique character each prophet as he delivers prophecy of the Return of Christ in his own manner, style, & idiosyncrasies!

Hence, this will give us revelation to the various characteristics that surround the return of the Lord, strengthening veracity of the truth.  Bullwarking its walls with testimony.

We must NEVER Delete scripture because it doesn't appear to "harmonize".  Sometimes the commands and conditions given to man are changed and superseded, but God's Words, especially of the prophets are never superseded.
