The Millennium
Isa 2:2,3
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's
house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted
above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of
the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways,
and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law,
and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Let's expound unto you from Moses to ALL the prophets (not excluding Ezekiel) the descriptions of the Millennium.
| Why did God speak at sundry times & in divers manners? Because He had different subjects He wanted to emphasize. |
Luke 24:27 |
Heb 1:1 |

| We can see the CHARACTER of the prophecy determines how
prophecy is arranged, relayed, and delivered. It should be noted that the Latter prophets worked more on a faith-principle rather than the law-principle of the former prophets (Appendix 78). Isaiah stands out in a different time than the other major prophets. Giving us the perspective of "observing from within the city" and from "within the age of Apostasy". I think Isaiah was an "Insider". He seems to look at the same situation from 100 perspectives, giving us every detail. Isaiah is not chronological. Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel give us the perspective of looking down at earth from above or "without the city", and outside of the time limits of the Great Apostasy, looking before and after at time as a whole. Counting Jubilees from Adam and the Jordan all the way till the end.
|
Here is a LIST of prophets that spoke of the Millennium:
Isa 29:18 |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| A cohesive picture of the Millennium requires an overview and comparison to the regular blueprint of the age. No better than Ezekiel who was the "engineer" of the group. | Ezekiel's special commission -- The Visionary and Engineer. provides the "blueprint" | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

THE MILLENNIUM A COMPARISON OF EZEKIEL 40-44 WITH OTHER
SCRIPTURAL DOCUMENTATION:
A line by line comparison of Ezekiel 43 & 44. Showing the second witness of them in the right column
In order to show the truthfulness and accuracy of Ezekiel's
Vision, 19 books of the Bible were consulted and around 41 references elsewhere
in Scripture were consulted to show what Ezekiel says in only two chapters.
Every prophet contributes to the Millennial teaching from his own perspective
|
Ezekiel does so from the "Earth being governed by the PRESENCE OF YHVH (YHVH SHAMMAH = the Lord is There)" according to Bullinger (Things to Come “God’s Remembrance of ‘Babylon the Great”Vol 1:31)
|
Jeremiah's perspective is the "Earth not being governed AT ALL (therefore, very little concerning the priests)" and
|
Daniel "the Earth being governed by power committed for a time to Gentile empires".
|
These three prophets are the captivity prophets. |

Summary of Ezekiel 43 & 44 |
It is a description of the surroundings & feelings of God.
|
Chapter 43 |
Chapter 44 | ||
| 1-6 The Glory -- Returning (The Heavenly Realm) | That which exists already & will be established on the earth | 1-4 The Glory -- Abiding | The "Beautiful" Gate is God's door, where David will sit. |
| 7-12 Injunctions | Israel, your in trouble! | 5-8 Injunctions -- | Rebellious are addressed |
| 13-17 The House -- The Altar -- Itself |
This isn't an "event", but a description with our unique Royal measurements. | 9-14 The House -- Levites | Banned previous activities; Failure announced; sentenced |
| 18-27 The House -- The Altar -- Its Ordinances
|
Bullinger notes : compared with the MOSAIC
tabernacle, the ritual began with the consecration of the priests; here,
they are already consecrated. This is a NEW TESTAMENT concept (Justified, Sanctified, Glorified) or otherwise KNOWN as THE Righteous (Zadok). Therefore, it is not as under the Old Law but must be NEW! |
15-31The House -- The Priests
|
Judgment SEAT of CHRIST, VERY PUBLIC. |
| Rewards for Righteousness; Robes; Hidden from the unrighteous very personal. | |||
| These Moral duties are established as law from spiritual reality to our reality. | |||
| Even Bullinger recognized the ceremonial will exist in the Millennium. | |||
| Morality was never repealed or voided by any Covenant. | |||
To say that the above descriptions "won't happen" is denying several truths Ezekiel attests:
God's throne; The Glory within is a spiritual Reality
| |||||||||
The Temple / House will be in the Millennium -- established
| |||||||||
The Judgment Seat of Christ
|
The only thing that "won't happen" is the blood ordinances, even though they are a type or picture of ceremonial activities. That is to say, the Millennium will have organized activities, pertaining directly with the Temple and the ministry.

| Ezek 40:3-4 3 And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. 4 And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel. |

| Ezekiel 43:11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them. | This could very well be the best description of teaching (complete with visual aids) | 1 John 2:28 28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. Rev 3:12 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. | Ezekiel 43:12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house. | Simply, no abomination in this special "house on the hill". | Heb 12:18-21 18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, 19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: 20(For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: 21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:) Rev 15:4 4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. |

| Ezekiel 43:18 And he said unto
me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD;
These are the ordinances of the
altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings
thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon. 19 And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering. 20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it. 21 Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary. |
The New Testament is revealing the OT type and
pattern of the altar, the priesthood, & the purpose of blood sacrifice, i.e.
to foretell Christ's sacrifice.
The four horns or corners, symbolizes the earth, which must needs be cleansed and purged. |
Rev 8:3-5 3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 1 Peter 2:9 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Heb 13:11-12 11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. 12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate |
|||||||||
| Ezekiel 43:25
Seven days shalt thou prepare
every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young
bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish. 26 Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves. 27 And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD. |
The Vow of the Nazarite or the Oath of Sevens is full of symbolism, showing evidence of the need for consecration and purification, then God will "accept you!" | Num 6:13 13 And this is the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: Ex 29:35 Ex 29:37 Acts 21:27 |

Luke 13:24-25 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Matt 25:10-11 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. |

| Ezekiel 44:3 It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same. | Ezek 34:24 24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it. Ps 89:19-21 19 Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people. 20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: |
||||||||||
| Ezekiel 44:7 In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations. | Leads up to the Millennium (modern day churches) | Jer 7:30 30 For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it. |
|||||||||
| Ezekiel 44:8 And ye have not kept the charge of mine holy things: but ye have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves. | Matt 21:12-13 12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. |
||||||||||
| Ezekiel 44:9 Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel. | The Key is keeping the commandments of God. Where there is no flesh there is neither circumcision or un-circumcision BUT there is always keeping God's Laws. | 1 Cor 7:18-20 18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised. 19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. 20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. |

| Ezekiel 44:10 And the Levites that are gone away far from me, when Israel went astray, which went astray away from me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity. | Rev 16:15 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. |
||||||||||
| Ezekiel 44:11 Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them. | Rev 7:15-17 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
Isa 26:1-2 |
||||||||||
| Ezekiel 44:12 Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity. | Rev 6:15-16 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: Isa 30:30 |
||||||||||
| Ezekiel 44:13 And they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the most holy place: but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed. | Jer 18:17, 23 17 I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will shew them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity. 23 Yet, LORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thus with them in the time of thine anger. |

|
144 - denotes the completion of His Body that makes up His entire
staff of administrators who will be inducted into office to carry
on the affairs of the kingdom. Remember the ordinances are a TYPE, FIGURE, SHAPE, OR FORM of the spiritual dimension (a real place). Shadows of Things to come : fat & blood, marriage, haircuts, wine consumption, etc. This is figurative language (an exact science) not "spiritualizing", which robs scripture of meaning. |
Jer 18:18 18 Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words. Rev 3:4 4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. Rev 7:14 |

|
Isa 30:20-21 20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: 21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. |

To Defile = BAD DOCTRINE, makes sense that
God won't tolerate this in the Millennium. It also makes sense that only those you know (even by blood from this age) can you approach and teach. Remember "All Israel shall be saved" (Romans 11:26, Isaiah 45:17) We will need the rest from 144,000 to ALL. Also, any Gentile who believes. |
1 Tim 1:3,7,9-10 3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. 9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

1 Peter 4:10-11 10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. John 6:35 |

in fine linen, white and clean.

nations: and he shall rule them with
a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and
wrath of Almighty God.
Ps 2:6-9
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this
day have I begotten thee.

uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in
pieces like a potter's vessel.
Rev 7:15-17
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and
serve him day and night in his temple:
and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun
light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall
lead them unto living fountains of

4 And the man said unto me, Son
of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and
set thine

shew them unto thee art thou brought hither:
declare all that thou seest to the house

Ezek 40:45-46
45 And he said unto me, This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south,
is for the priests, the keepers
of the charge of the house.

keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons
of Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him.
Ezek 41:22
22 The altar of wood was three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits;

This is the most holy place.
Ezek 42:13-14
13 Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are
before the separate place, they be holy chambers,
where the priests that approach unto the
LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy
things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering;
for the place is holy.
14 When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place
into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they
minister; for they are holy; and shall
put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for
the people.
Ezek 43:7
7 And he said unto me, Son of
man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will

ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt
offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
Ezek 46:20
20 Then said he unto me, This is
the place where the priests shall boil the trespass offering and the sin
offering, where they shall bake the meat offering; that they bear them not out
into the utter court, to sanctify the people.
Ezek 46:24
24 Then said he unto me, These
are the places of them that boil, where the ministers of the house shall boil
the sacrifice of the people.
Ezek 47:6-8
6 And he said unto me, Son of
man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the
brink of the river.
7 Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees
on the one side and on the other.
8 Then said he unto me, These
waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go
into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be

At the second coming only PART of Israel (144,000) is saved , to
convert the rest we need more time i.e. the Millennium.
(The Gentiles are saved too but only those willing to come)
Rom 11:25-26
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest
ye should be wise in your own conceits; that
blindness in part is happened to Israel,

Another millennial passage:
Zeph 3:9-17
9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call
upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my
dispersed, shall bring mine offering.
11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast
transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them
that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy
mountain.
12 I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they
shall trust in the name of the LORD.
13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a
deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and
none shall make them afraid.
14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the
heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
15 The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the
king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil
any more.
16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let
not thine hands be slack.
17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will
rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with
singing.

Another Millennial passage
Zech 8:3-11
3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of
Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called
a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in
the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.
5 And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the
streets thereof.
6 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant
of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith
the LORD of hosts.
7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east
country, and from the west country;
8 And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and
they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.
9 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these
days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that
the foundation of the house of the LORD
of hosts was laid, that the
temple might be built.
10 For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast;
neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the
affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.
11 But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days,
saith the LORD of hosts.

1 Cor 15:23-25
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that
are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even
the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
