"Hosea 2:23
And I will sow her unto Me in the earth; and I will have mercy
upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which
were not My people, Thou art My people; and they shall
say, Thou art my God.
(CB) I will sow her: i.e. the new Israel.
(CB) will have mercy, &c. = have pity; i.e. will [call her] Ruhamah.
(CB) her that had not obtained mercy = Lo-Ruhamah (not pitied).
(CB) not My people = Lo-ammi.
(CB) Thou art My people = Ammi [art] thou.
Midbar, our place in the wilderness. Midbar, pasture to be fed God’s Word. Midbar, kind of lonely in a world intoxicated with lies."

by Don H.Let’s do an etymology of Amelric: Am - el - ric. In Hebrew "am", Strong’s OT: 5971, means people or nation. In Hebrew "el", Strong’s OT: 410, means God. "Ric", in the old Sachsen Gothic means "powerful" or "mighty". So America then would mean "the People of God Almighty".
