Israel's Lost Empires

Their website Israelite.info gives the scriptural references for the two houses (Judah and Israel) and their blessings and covenants.  This book focuses on Carthage.  "One of the wealthiest cities of the ancient world, and its large fleets of merchant vessels sailed the world's oceans as they united a GLOBAL COMMERCIAL EMPIRE." (About the Cover page)

"Carthage  inherited the wealth and power of the ABRAHAMIC BLESSINGS, and it controlled Gibralter, one of the most strategic gates on the globe." (p.4)  Hebrew name of Carthage was Kirjath-Hadeschath (New Town) (p.133)

Gen 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

Another major point bears that "Under King Solomon of Israel, Phoenicia's sailors, miners and traders explored both the Old and New Worlds.  Israel, Tyre and Sidon merged their nations, their navies and their destinies.  Phoenicia's (1000-700 B.C.) naval might allowed it to EXPLOIT the mineral wealth of Europe and the ancient Americas even as it also BARRED the Greeks from the World's Oceans." (p.4)

"Not only would the Phoenicians wreck their own vessels rather than betray their secrets to their rivals, the ancient Phoenicians had a deliberate disinformation campaign to SCARE their Greek and Roman rivals OFF the oceans.  Many readers have, no doubt, seen ancient maps that include drawings of monstrous sea-creatures inhabiting the oceans. . . to "leak" inaccurate maps to their rivals and scare them off the high seas with lurid tales of sea-monsters waiting to consume sailors and ships." (p. 24)

"...an international maritime empire which spanned the globe and dominated parts of five continents..." (P.55)

"Under King David, Israel could muster 1.51 MILLION soldiers (I Chron. 21:2-6)...several decades later, 1.2 mill soldiers were mustered for war pitting Israel against Judah." (p.66)

"The 'Phoenicians' called themselves "Sidonians" "Tyrians"...The Israelite alliance with Tyre and Sidon was called Phoenicia by the Greeks" (p.9)

"...in ancient Iowa...a trilingual stele depicting a pagan religioous ceremony from approx. 800-700 B.C....Egyptian, Libyan (the sailors of the Egyptians) and "Iberian-Punic" (Hebrew-Phoenician)" (p.74)   "There would have been no need for such a tri-lingual inscriptions so far from the homelands of Israel, Egypt, Tyre and Sidon unless their colonists and sailors were still allied together throughout the world!" (p.75)

"...the navies of Israel, Tyre and Sidon may have been at their largest and most powerful status during the reign of King Ahab." (p.79)

In 721 BC Israelite captives totalled 27,000 "...a paltry sum in light of the above numbers...Where did the Israelites go?" (p.95)

"The missing tribes include Asher, Zebulun, Issachar, Dan, Simeon, most of Ephraim, and half the tribe of Manasseh." (p.95)

Jer 25:22-23
22 And all the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles which are beyond the sea,

"  This statement confirms Jeremiah knew that there were "kings" with Phoenician origins beyond the Mediterranean Sea-- the Celtic areas in the British Isles, western Spain and Europe." (p.107)

II Esdras 13:40-45

"These are the ten tribes that in the days of King Hoshea were carried away from their own land into captivity, whom Shalmanesar, King of Assyria, made captives, and carried beyond the river...But they formed this plan among themselves, to leave the heathen population, and go to a more distant region...so that there perhaps they might keep their statutes, which they had not kept in their own country.  And they went in by the narrow passages of the Euphrates River.  Fo the Most High then did wonders for them, for he held back the sources of the river until they had passed over.  But it was a long journey of a year and a half to that country...called Arzareth."(p.112)

Jer 3:11-12
11 And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.
12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

"This message was given to Jeremiah about a century after Samaria Fell." (p.118)

"Carthage was a colony founded in the ninth century BC during the extreme drought caused by the prayer of Elijah." (p.129)

"it was founded about 840 BC...Dido the Phoenician Queen who is said to have founded the city, was reported to have been the grandniece of Jezebel, the wife of [King] Ahab of Israel..." (p.131)

"Carthage became so dominant in the Western Mediterranean that they barred Greek passages through the Pillars of Hercules (Gibraltar) making Carthage "the Queen of the Western Seas"." (p. 141)  "Carthage continued to blockade the Pillars of Hercules with its powerful navy, permitting neither Greeks nor Romans to sail into the Atlantic Ocean.  In fact when one Greek mariner named Pytheas finally sailed into the Atlantic around 300 BC, it was an unprecedented event!" (p. 142)

On page 146-7 three quotes by Socrates, Aristotle, and Diodorus describe the AMERICAS.

Hannibal, the famous Carthaginian general during the Punic Wars, meant "the grace of Baal" in Hebrew. (p.158)

Prophecy Point : Carthage did not defeat Rome because "Rome had not yet fulfilled its Biblically prophesied destiny...as the "iron" split into two legs..." (p.161)

Adena and Hopewell cultures are Phoenician and Carthaginian 300-200 BC respecitively. (p. 164)   "Such Native American tongues as Ute, Paiute, Shoshone and Pima are included in this broad linguistic family (Semitic-Hamitic origin)." (p. 173)

"The Mayans were contemporary with Carthage during the Punic Wars and the fall of Carthage." (p.174)

"A lead tablet with a Sumerian cuneiform inscription from ancient Mesopotamia was unearthed in Georgia in 1963 ..."Utu the sungod and the goddess Lam Lugal...in the 37th or 38th year of the reign of King Suigi of Ur...about 2040 B.C."  Ur of Mesopotamia is where Abraham's family originated (Genesis 11:31), and these Sumerian tablets found in ancient America date to a time preceding the birth of Abraham!" (p.175)

The other half of the Israelites traveled north after the Assyrians took over, they were called Scythians (Sons of Isaac).  They became very powerful and when Babylonian revolted the Scythians joined them and regained their homelands for 28 years according to Herodotus (p. 216)

This plays into a scriptural account of King Josiah's great revival.

2 Chron 35:17-18
17 And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.
18 And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

"II Kings 17:18 states that when the Israelites were deported from Palestine, God "removed them" and that "none was left but the tribe of Judah only...since all the tribes of Israel were earlier removed from Palestine, how was it possible that not only were portions of the ten tribes again in Palestine at the time of Josiah, but that they were also devout enough to participate in observing God's Holy Days?" (p. 217)

More scriptural evidence of the reoccupation of "their old tribal lands in Palestine". (p. 219)

2 Chron 34:6-7
6 And so did he in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even unto Naphtali, with their mattocks round about.
7 And when he had broken down the altars and the groves, and had beaten the graven images into powder, and cut down all the idols throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.
9 And when they came to Hilkiah the high priest, they delivered the money that was brought into the house of God, which the Levites that kept the doors had gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of Israel, and of all Judah and Benjamin; and they returned to Jerusalem.

"The role of the prophet Jeremiah in Israelite history has been unappreciated...He surely played a key role in the reforms of King Josiah and the observance of the Passover during the reunion of the Israelite Scythians and the Jews of Judah." (p. 220)  "Jeremiah had more experience with the scattered nations of  Israelites than anyone else in his time." (p. 222)

"...Daniel's observance about the widespread scattering of the ten tribes was absolutely true." (p. 225)

Dan 9:7
7 O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.

Col 3:11
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, [nor] Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

The apostle Paul knew that the Scythians were "the Israelites from the ten tribes of Israel" (p. 232) or of the Abrahamic Covenant, which is shown in the comparisons above.  Barbarian is a Greek word for "foreigner" or "alien", which then proves the Scythians were not aliens to God's chosen people.
