We are students of the Shepherd's Chapel. We hold Pastor Murray as our pastor, and the Chapel is our church. Although we are not affiliated with the Chapel, we adhere to its teachings. This site is dedicated to those students who desire to take the foundation of truth we have been taught, and BUILD upon it. Christ is our foundation. We are Christians, but unlike most we call certain tenants of the teachings of Pastor Murray pillars to our foundation, and we will defend them, because we believe it is true.
There are several sites on the web that have almost all the common beliefs the Chapel teaches in great detail, but our website is taking those beliefs and building upon them. We aren't going to necessarily rebuild these foundation stones, as they have already been laid. Our studies are unique and not "approved" by the chapel. Although I hope that our Pastor would heartily agree to the work we have done, albeit minute compared to the collection of audio studies he has recorded and made available.
We are not building a new religion, sect, and/or group. We don't have a corporate name. We are not looking for followers of any kind; However, we DO hope to inspire others into deeper Bible study, as
JESUS is the LIVING WORD.
Statement of Faith - Foundation Stones
|
Very much like the Christian Protestants, but minus Rapture theology (Raptura - to rape in Latin).
|
Additionally, we believe the children of Israel are right here in the USA.
|
READ Revelation It's great! Order the Mark of the Beast tape for free from the Chapel.
|
The Tribulation - don't be afraid, we're all going to be in that together. God will protect his own, and the others are going to be deceived "peaceably" (Ez. 44)
|
Satan is the Spurious Messiah, he comes first - don't be deceived. |
We are encouraged to study the Bible for ourselves "because every day is a good day, because JESUS is the LIVING WORD".
I'd like to sign off the way my mother closed all of her studies:
And I said to YHVH, "Here Am I send Me." (Isaiah 6)
Therefore, I come to you: To Stir up your rememberance. (II Peter 1:13)
Ye Workers (II Timothy 2:15)
To dig deeper into the Word (Ezekiel 8:8)
To look for the hidden shadows (I Corinthians 10:11; Colossians 2:17)
Commanding you: "Never eat any 'Fodder' until first checking with the Father!" (Jeremiah 33:3)
